How we use what you share
Plain-language notes on our forms and stories. This is a working draft for review, not a legal policy, and makes no claim of compliance with any specific law. For review
What we collect
Each form asks only for what it needs: usually a name, a way to reach you, and a few questions about what you’re interested in. Forms are hosted on Google Forms, and responses are stored in a Google account managed by Small City Enterprises.
What we don’t collect
Our public forms do not ask for, and we ask you not to send, court or case information, charges, custody details, health or mental health information, Social Security numbers or financial account details.
Who can see it
Only program staff who need to respond to you. We don’t sell or rent your information. We share a referral or inquiry with a partner organization only when you ask us to or agree to it.
Young people under 18
If you’re under 18, we involve a parent or legal guardian before enrolling you or publishing anything about you. We never publish photos, faces, schools, facilities or locations that could identify a minor.
Stories, songs and testimonials
Sending us a story does not mean it will be published. We publish only after the person (and a guardian, for minors) approves the final version in writing. You choose how you’re named, including anonymously. Creative work belongs to the person who made it.
Removing your information
You can ask us to update or delete your form responses, or take down anything published about you, at any time. Contact:
