How consent works
Shared with permission, every time
These steps are drafted for review and should be checked with your organization’s counsel and partner facilities before the first story is published. For review
- You choose what to share. A quote, a song, a story, or nothing at all. Participation in the program never depends on it.
- You choose how you’re named. Full name, first name, artist name, or anonymous.
- Under 18? A parent or legal guardian signs too, and we never publish photos, faces, schools, facilities or locations that could identify a minor.
- You approve the final version before it goes live, in writing.
- You can take it down. Ask any time and we remove it from this site.
- No case details, ever. We don’t publish charges, court, health or custody information.
